Design is in Sheridan French’s blood. Inspired by her great grandmother, Sheridan, age 12, created her first ball gown and has never looked back. We felt this way on Sunday after a gorgeous weekend of non-stop activity!

Alexa Chung is not only a fashion icon – her talents go well beyond just looking pretty.  She is an English television presenter, model and contributing editor to British Vogue.  And we think you can tell by her style that she is smart, a little quirky and doesn’t take anything too seriously – and we love that!

gratitude…

We loved this quote from the actress, humanitarian and fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn.

And…because of all the helping hands out there, our Friday event to raise money for JDRF was BEYOND successful!  We both had our hopes up for a C-RAZY day but, turns out we didn’t dream big enough!  Who knew?  

And you know us girls…we are NOT afraid to dream big!

You came out, you spread the word, you brought friends, you showed up…and for that we say,

As we were cleaning up from the whirlwind of the day, one of our dear friends knocked on the door with her precious daughter in tow, a daughter with type 1 diabetes, so that they could say thank you.  When they left, we looked at each other with tears in our eyes, for they had no idea how the day had turned out as they had showed up to say thank for the effort.

So, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU,  for making Friday go way beyond just an “effort” to raise money and awareness and making it a hugely successful event!

We are so blessed to have all of you as followers, as shoppers, and as friends – you opened your hearts and wallets and because of that we will gratefully be writing a BIG check to JDRF.  

Also,  a HUGE thank you to the girls at The Woods for their generous donation.  Their contribution helped us raise even more money!

PS…

Turns out, we don’t have to send these gorgeous jewels back until Tuesday…so, if you didn’t make it by (or have a piece that you just can’t stop thinking about) we will have their pieces in the store for one more day!
