If we said it once we said it a thousand times…these crazy Texas winters have us guessing every day what to wear!  Cold?, warm?, rain?…possibly all three in one day!  But we have some good news – while we can’t even begin to guess what the weather will bring we do have some great pieces that will help you through this awkward transition period from winter to spring!  Here are just a few of our favorites!

A bright pop of orange in silk.  Saturated colors are everywhere for spring and this great top is the perfect way to start wearing them now.  Wear it now with your favorite jeans and boots…later with some crisp white jeans (of course DL1961 are our favorites!) and a sandal!

This is a great dress…day to night, winter to spring!   Beautiful seafoam green with an open knit kimono in grey.    Wear it now with your favorite tall boots and later with great wedge…can’t go wrong here!

Here it is again…that great tangerine color that we are loving!  This time in a darling pullover.  The heart is in silk on a easy heather grey knit.  Layer a long sleeve tee under it with jeans and flats and you are good to go!  For spring, it will be darling with white jeans or shorts.

 It’s taking great willpower for both of us to not snatch ALL of these right off the floor and into our closets!

We are so excited we can hardly stand it!!  Just signed the lease today on our next space slated to open after Spring Break!

It is a bit too early to let out all the little details but suffice it to say that we have a great space and can’t wait to show you all that we have found – it is going to be a good one people!

I always find it a bit funny when I read in the fashion magazines about what “hot” color is the new black for the season.  I mean shouldn’t beautiful colors that look beautiful on you always be in fashion?  But I digress.  On to my point.  The other day I saw this photo (below) on pinterest of this effortlessly chic girl strolling the town in her fabulous all black outfit and I immediately thought, “we have that look!”

Let me break her outfit down for you and tell you what we have:

Top: We have a couple of similar sleeveless black tops styles in stock.

Pants: DL1961 Britney in black wax – a straight leg jean with zipper.  This jean was my first purchase from the DL1961 line and to say I love it would be an understatement!  The fit is perfection and comfortable – really I can’t say enough!  If you haven’t tried this line you really should – your search for the perfect pair of jeans could end.

Shoes: The perfect black pump – I am sure you already have these in your closet!

It’s time to spring into action!

We have been to market and we cannot wait to show you the fabulousness we found there…it will be great!  And even better,  some of the spring orders that we placed at October market are coming in!  Soooooooo now it is time – time to find our next space!  We are driving the city…slowly…stalking all empty spots, peeking in, taking photos and now ready to start making calls.
